Only events organized by recognized student organizations will be approved.  For events with external speakers organized by student associations a patronage [Verlinkung zu Patronatsblatt Englisch in Assets?] can be requested. Compliance with the Code of Conduct Campus Life is a basic requirement for any event held at UZH.

For larger events, a concept must be submitted in addition to the application form for events requiring approval.

The VSUZH Impulsfabrik is happy to assist you.

How can I draw attention to my event, what advertising measures are available to me?

Posters, sending of mass e-mails (once per semester), targeted flyers and stand actions help to draw attention to the event. Here you can find informations about advertising opportunities.

The Guidelines from Impulsfabrik (PDF, 4 MB) also contain tips on this topic.

How can I finance my event?

There are several ways to cover the costs of an event. You can find tips on this in the Guidelines from VSUZH Impulsfabrik (PDF, 4 MB). Recognized student organizations can submit an application for financial support, including a budget, to Campus Culture.
Participation fees should not be charged, as student events should be open to everyone.

Can I organize the catering myself or do I have to consider ZFV?

As a general rule, eating and drinking are not permitted in lecture halls and seminar rooms. However, there are designated areas where you are allowed to eat and drink. The Room Allocation Services will be happy to assist you: raumdisposition@campuskultur.uzh.ch, 044 634 22 14.

The catering can be freely chosen. It is also possible to organize it yourself. It should be noted that cooking is not permitted in the rooms. In addition, all equipment, furniture and utensils must also be rented and all waste must be disposed of yourself.
